There's Some Brutal Orc-vs.-Human Action in the First Clips From Warcraft

Well, after all, it’s a movie based on a game called Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. The fact that they’re hacking away at each other probably shouldn’t be all that surprising.

The first four clips from the film have been made available internationally, and cover all the various factions of the world of Azeroth—from asshole archmage Medivh (Ben Foster) throwing around his young apprentice Khadgar (Ben Schnetzer), to the giant orcs Durotan (Toby Kebbel) and Orgrim (Rob Kazinsky) pondering a future for their people. And, like I said, orcs smacking humans about like they’re bits of fancily-armored papier-mâché.

There’s not much else going on there—the few hints of plot aren’t anything out of the ordinary for what we’ve already seen in trailers, but the movie continues to look incredibly pretty, if nothing else. Warcraft hits theaters June 10th.
