It’s just over a century since Scottish novelist J.M. Barrie adapted his stage play Peter and Wendy into a novel. And now, there’s a beautiful new edition of Barrie’s book, illustrated by MinaLima, the firm that did the graphics in the Harry Potter films. Check out an exclusive look inside the brand new Peter Pan!

Seriously, the new Peter Pan volume is just a delight. Not only is it a beautifully bound hardcover, but every page looks just stunning. The illustrations really help to bring out the insane sense of wonder in the story, and there are also little interactive touches throughout—like an envelope that pops out of the book, containing secret documents. Or a spinning wheel that allows you to decide the outcome of a crocodile attack. Or see below for a glimpse at the pop-out map of Neverland.

The illustrations below can’t quite convey how beautiful this edition actually is when you’re holding it in your hands—but they definitely give a hint. You can also read a sample of the book, with illustrations, at the Harper Collins site.
