I really like these two trailers from Tant de Forêts—a short film by France-based directors Burcu Sankur and Geoffrey Godet. The animation starts simple and colorful but all of a sudden, that happy world turns dark and intriguing. Enough to leave me craving to watch the entire thing.
The film is based on an homonymous poem by French writer Jacques Prévert. According to the directors:
Speaks of the irony of the fact that newspapers warn us about deforestation although they are made of paper themselves.
