If you watched the movie, you have seen Daniel Simon‘s amazing work for Tron Legacy on the big screen. I did too, but I don’t get tired of seeing his original concept art and admire his flawless work. A sleek vision of an alternative world that still makes me dream of a far-away future.

P.S. Most mornings I start work by playing Daft Punk’s Tron Legacy soundtrack, racing through the RSS in search of cool stuff like Flynn in his lightcycle. And every time I remember the original movie and how it got me into computers for the first time. That’s another reason why I love these so much.

Daniel Simon designs sophisticated vehicle-centered dreams for imagined futures, pasts, and sci-fi worlds. His mechanical fantasies come to life in movies, books, and reality, sparking true emotions with their detailed believability. Simon summarizes his creative belief as ‘Style for All Galaxies’ and ‘Vehicle Design Unlimited’.

You can follow him on Facebook, Twitter and his website. Buy his books at Amazon—they are all awesome industrial design porn that you will enjoy to no end. Here’s Cosmic Motors.
