No wonder the Zombie hordes yearn for the flesh of The Walking Dead’s survivors – they look good enough to eat, especially when recreated through the even tastier medium of pancake batter.
Nathan Shields, who goes by Saipancakes on Youtube, made these outstanding bits of batter-y art depicting Glenn, Michonne and Rick to celebrate the show’s return this past weekend, and it’s kind of amazing to see the level of detail he can get out of a pancake – the slightly more done, initial ‘drawing’ standing out on the finished pancake is really cool. You can see a few pictures of the Walking Dead themed pancakes on Nathan’s site – including some extra ones by fellow Pancake artist Kevin Blankenship, featuring current Zombie Apocalypse Queen Carol:

Just look at that delicious pancake beard on Tyreese. This makes my inability to flip a pancake without it either going on the floor or splattering blobs of hot, under-done pancake batter over me like an idiot all the more embarrassing.
