According to CNN, three family members at a wedding in the village of Akcagoze, southeast Turkey, were killed by the groom. He accidentally killed his father and two aunts and injured many guests—including three kids—after accidentally losing control of his Kalashnikov. Talking to CNN Turk, a family member said that it all “happened very quickly. We all tried to take cover and there was blood all over. We are all very sad right now.”
Apparently, people love to fire guns into the air while celebrating. I’d rather just have slow cooked BBQ ribs, fresh beer and dance, thank you very much. [CNN]
