ThinkGeek’s Made Its Flying U.S.S. Enterprise Frisbee Prank a Real Toy

ThinkGeek’s annual crop of April Fools’ Day prank products are not only great because the company puts so much time and effort into making them see as real as possible, but also because they often end up as products you can actually buy. The latest to go from prank to purchasable is that U.S.S. Enterprise flying disc from last April that actually flies.

The saucer section of the Enterprise, which serves as the actual flying disc, is made from plastic so it’s durable and easy to throw. But the rest of the ship, which is pulled along as the disc flies, is made from lightweight foam. So when you throw it it actually looks like Star Trek’s U.S.S. Enterprise flying through the air. And it’s just $25, so why haven’t you purchased one yet? [ThinkGeek]
