We’ve seen the psychotic amount of detail that went into He-Man advertising art, but that’s nothing compared to the dog-and-pony show Mattel brought to America’s malls in the mid-1980s. This toy tent would’ve made your 6-year-old head explode.

This He-Man promo tent stopped by Indianapolis in summer 1986 and intoxicated young consumers with visions of Snake Men and heroic monorails. The animatronics and holograms made it not unlike the Eternian equivalent of the Hall of Presidents. Skeletor would have totally been a Whig.
