We’ve seen all kinds of fandom clothing over the years, but they tend to focus very heavily on art and photos. This dress is all about the words. The very first words, in fact, that started the whole Harry Potter series.
Not only is does this dress ($277.51 by Rooby Lane) have the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone printed on it in a readably large font, it’s nicely accented with dots of yellow in the style of highlighter. The print is also available in bag form ($34.89).
This is a great design: the words really stand out, and the variation in the paragraph lengths give it a nice randomness. And some of us have very strong memories of the first time we read these words, so it’s a great tribute to the power of novels on imagination.
