I would no sooner ask how much this Dusenberg Circular watch costs than I would a Rothko. Partly because I’d rather appreciate the beauty, not the price. But mostly because I’ll never be able to afford it. Or its brother.
The Dusenbergs are the 18-karat red gold, polished steel, and titanium namesakes of a breed of car that was popular in the 20s. Hence the Art Deco styling, and the sense that they might suddenly take off of their own accord. Especially the Dusenberg Rectangular:
