Eudora Welty once said, "A good snapshot stops a moment from running away." It's also hard for the moment to run away if it's extremely tiny, as is the case with this iPod Nano turned diminutive digital photo gallery.

The installation (if you can call it that) is the work of Mint Digital, a software design firm. "We had an idea, so we quickly gave it a go," they explain. I like it! Instagram photos, as Matt said, "are effectively period pieces, photos of a certain time and space. In this case, our cellphones in the first two years of the 2010s." So what better vessel to carry this distinctly portable form of photography than a miniscule screen that require some good, hard staring? It works. [Mint Digital via PetaPixel]
