North Korea and South Korea are very different places. But seeing their respective capital cities, Seoul and Pyongyang, next to each other at night makes that difference more stark than ever.

We’ve seen similar pictures of the countries next to each other before, but astronaut Terry W. Virts has just posted images of the two cities on Twitter as he flew over them aboard the International Space Station.
