This room from the ’80s looks strangely familier

I grew up in the 1980s and this build by LegoJalex really hit home for me. From the Optimus Prime on the desk to the Etch A Sketch on the floor, this build is a fantastic representation of what I think the rooms of many of my generation looked like. I even had that stupid architect light, though mine was white.

The build techniques in this are really fantastic. I absolutely love the window shade that’s falling off and the sideways building for the window, walls and especially the floor with profile bricks. I think the koosh ball under the shelf that is actually the hair element from series 4 minifigure Punk Rocker (8804) was quite clever.

The only thing missing is this micro Galaxy Explorer by Legonardo to make it a totally accurate model of my childhood room.
