This Train Lays Its Own Tracks

This German Belgian train is self-sufficient enough that I'm starting to question everything I've done with my life. It's a train that doesn't need tracks laid out for it—because it lays them itself.

The P811-S Track Renewal Train just finished installing a line to Overpelt, Belgium in May. Presumably, to top this, its next project will be some sort of chunnel. [The Presurfer via Neatorama]

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looked like it was replacing old tracks rather than laying completely new tracks. It can't just start driving off into the wilderness laying track behind it.

Still freaking awesome though.
