NASA released this amazing video that shows just how close the 43-foot asteroid 2012 JU came to Earth the other day — within 118,000 miles, or about half the distance to our own Moon. It's amazing to think that an object can come from near Mars in February and come so close to us, just a few months later. Video: NASA/JPL.
