OK, well this sounds awesome. Time Warner is currently developing an iPad app that would let customers stream live TV as well as on-demand TV directly to the device.
The app also acts as a remote control for your cable box, complete with fancy-pants channel guide, much like the app Xfinity is working on.

But the coolest stuff is what they’re talking about building into the app, like starting a show on the TV and then finishing it on the iPhone or iPad.
It’s still in development, but this looks like it has the potential to be pretty awesome when it’s eventually released. [CNET]
