The value of this is pretty dubious—at what point in our day do we think “Oh, no! I didn’t TiVo America’s Funniest Dead Pet Videos!”—but here it is. TiVo and Verizon are creating a system which allows you to schedule recordings via your cell.
I’m going to say/hope this is the first step towards full on-the-go streaming of previously recorded content, but at this point it seems like just another way to avoid playing Bejeweled.
