A year ago, Col. Chris Hadfield posted a stirring home-brew video of him performing David Bowie’s Space Oddity—while afloat in the International Space Station. For copyright reasons, today’s your last chance to watch the video. 22 million views later. Sheesh.
Col. Hadfield just posted the following to his Tumblr:
Bowie’s last day – we had permission for a year, so our Space Oddity video comes down today. One last look.
Presumably, the video will be taken down at the end of the day. We’re not saying do anything illegal, but it’s certainly possible to rip a version of this down off YouTube. Even if you don’t, illegal versions of this will probably circulate for eternity. You can’t kill the music, man.
