The Wachowskis are using the ultra-commercial Speed Racer to work out their fear of being sell-outs, judging from the just-released trailer. The film’s central conflict: either Speed signs an Evil Contract Of Doom, or the corporate overlord will destroy him. Luckily, John Goodman has canny advice. And a mongoose glued to his upper lip.
