Toshiba's Mini NB250 Netbook Is Another Full-Sized Keyboard Behemoth

Netbooks shouldn't be accompanied with the word "behemoth," but when it's got one of Toshiba's full-sized keyboards which we like so much, it's kinda justified. With LED-backlighting and weighing just 2.46lbs, it'll be available end of the month.

Also announced was a Satellite Pro L630 laptop for our UK friends, but it's the NB250 netbook we're most interested in here. It's packing a 10.1-inch TruBrite LED-backlit screen with a 1024 x 600 resolution; has an Intel Atom N455 processor clocked at 1.66GHz and Intel GMA 3150 GPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a 2.5-inch HDD with options up to 250GB. There's also 3x USB ports, one multi-card reader, Ethernet port, and naturally Wi-Fi is included.

We're pretty fond of Toshiba's NB305 netbook which is similarly-specced, however at $400 I'd hope the NB250 would be a smidgen cheaper. Considering the screen is still missing a HD resolution, anything in that financial ballpark would be too much really. [Toshiba]
