Have a lot of time to kill? Next time you're stuck in a mine, perhaps an iPod would ease the boredom of waiting to be rescued. Two guys trapped in a Tasmanian mine have been waiting for more than a week to be rescued, and they're wiling away the hours listening to iPods lowered into their small cage wedged underneath 36 feet of rock.
They have about 48 more hours to wait before rescuers will be able to free them, receiving food, water, dry clothes and blankets along with portable entertainment until then. So what songs do you think are on their playlists? "Working in a Coal Mine"? "Coal Miner's Daughter"?
