Apparently Cingular’s cellphone video service, Cingular Video, is going to have so much content that viewers will need a mobile version of TV Guide to keep track of it all. Along with providing listings, TV Guide Mobile will offer additional products and services to Cingular customers. Since we don’t know what these “additional products” are yet, TV Guide either wants to keep them a secret or they have no idea either.
If we are really headed towards having a TV in every cellphone, I guess we’re going to need TV Guide for it. Who knows, maybe someday TiVo will even come out with a version for cellphones.
