Twitch, the video game streaming service that Amazon recently bought, is allegedly being attacked by Lizard Squad, the same group that claimed responsibility for bringing down Sony’s PlayStation Network, Microsoft’s XBOX Live, Riot Games’ League of Legends and Blizzard Entertainment’s Battle.net over the last few days.
Lizard Squad also claims to be affiliated with Middle Eastern jihadist state, ISIS, responsible for the beheading of journalist James Wright Foley. [Recode]
