Blokes wanting to use FM radio transmitters in Airstrip One can now do so legally. The old law that legally barred UK users from hooking their iPods and other DAPs up to FM radio transmitters (like the iTrip) has been amended to allow low power transmitters to be used. This may not seem like a huge deal, especially since these FM transmitters were/are easily available online, but at least now UK users can broadcast as much Robbie Williams to their car radio as they want.

Of course, many of these FM transmitters are fairly crappy (at least in my experience—and that’s in the hinterland of upstate NY where radio hasn’t been discovered yet) and real men craft their own FM transmitters from scratch.
