And (not to go overboard on Verizon), but it looks like you might actually have a few other places besides San Diego and Washington D.C. to use that new Audiovox PPC 5050. Verizon says they’re going to expand their high-speed 1xEV-DO service nationwide. It’ll take a little while to build out the network, and it’ll cost $80 a month, but we suspect more than a few people would be willing to pay be able to get DSL-like download speeds anywhere.
