Verizon Wireless customers are going to be able to send SMS messages to landline phones soon. Using TeleMessage’s text-to-speech, the recipient will hear the message spoken to them through the phone. Pretty neat for people who love text messaging, and for parents, who can now get periodic updates about their children’s locations in a stilted, robotic voice.
