There is a new Kickstarter campaign for Versa Bricks that promises to create the injection molds for custom ABS bricks that allow you to easily link your K’Nex, Lego and Hotwheels toys together in a crazy mix-up of toy box nirvana.
K’Nex, Hotwheels and Lego were all in my toy box as a child, though Lego was always my favorite. They are all great on their own merit, but combining them together wasn’t really possible. Though K’Nex were quickly replaced with Technic in my toybox as I got older, there were still some limitations in Technic where K’Nex shined. I still collect Hotwheels cars, but only if they are either a car that own or have owned or something that I lust after.
Not sure what the market is for this product, but adding to the versatility of your toy box is fine by me. Go support them if you like, even though the damn woman in the video uses the malevolent
Legos in it.
