Vizio let the cat out of the bag a little early today when they announced their plans for a new line of sub $2,000 1080p TVs. In particular, they're working on a 47-inch LCD that if we're lucky, will come out by the end of this year, or by mid to late January 2007 (just in time for the February Super Bowl). Unlike other budget HDTVs, Vizio has proven their TVs don't suck. Westinghouse, the other cheap LCD player we actually pay attention to, should have a cheap big LCD coming in response.
