Introducing the Sony Mavica FD200! It takes stellar 2-megapixel images, stores them on a floppy disk, and can even record silent videos. Head down to Wal Mart and scoop one up, on sale! Oh, also, it came out in 2002.

The Consumerist reports this wacky deal, a gadget frozen in time, spotted on a Wal Mart shelf in Illinois. At $270 plus tax, it might seem like a lot to spend on a giant antique digital camera—and you could get a 16 MP point and shoot for less, and it would have advanced features like “zooming” and “a memory card,” but on the other hand, this is a pretty good deal: Amazon’s selling the Mavica for $1000.
