Wash Your Scotch Down With a Heaping Helping of Pi

Illustration for article titled Wash Your Scotch Down With a Heaping Helping of Pi

How many numbers of Pi can you rattle off? Probably not many. Probably even fewer if you're drunk. But you can at least cheat with these glasses from TheUncommonGreen that are printed with hundreds and hundreds of digits from the mathematical constant.

The collection is perfectly compatible with whatever you're imbibing. A shot glass is $20, and a tumbler and a pint glass are both $36 each. So regardless of your beverage, you can impress people with your sharp knowledge of geometry. Provided you can still see the numbers clearly. [TheUncommonGreen via Technabob]

Neat idea, but TheUncommonGreen totally missed a trick on the execution. The digits ought to wrap all the way around the glass, a bit like the pattern on the high-ball glasses in my image. I think it would give their product a more custom feel, the way they are instead reminds me of those really cheaply printed-on coffee mugs. If they had done the full-wrap then their high asking price wouldn't seem so crazy.
