Watch a large ship getting deformed from the inside in a heavy storm

On the left, a ship in a heavy storm as seen from the deck, going through giant waves. On the right, a ship in a heavy storm seen from a level deep inside, going through the same stress forces. I really don’t know which perspective is scarier.

The ship on the left is the liquid pressurized gas tanker Venere near a hurricane, on January 19, 2013:

The one on the right is the container ship MSC Busan. As the description says: “Please note 00:11 when she hits significant wave of height approx. 7-8 meters.”

Freaking scary that this thing doesn’t just snap under those forces. Hooray for engineering and science.
