Rubik’s Cubes can be absolutely infuriating. If you’ve ever been bedeviled by one of these variegated frustration boxes, you’ll get a kick out of this Rubik’s-solving robot mercilessly destroying the puzzle in a scant 15 seconds.
This bot was built by Zachary Grady and Joe Ridgeway, engineers at Rowan University. The robot was inspired by Ridgeway’s own aptitude at solving Rubik’s Cubes (he can trump the Cube in 45 seconds), and the machine uses a camera in conjunction with a computer to determine its move set.
