The Slow Mo Guys have come up with some wonderfully original experiments to film with their high-speed camera. But the footage they capture is always the most fascinating, or excruciating, when they turn their slo-mo camera on themselves.


As you can probably imagine, getting hit in the face with a water-filled soccer ball is probably not an enjoyable experience. But seeing the results play out 1,000 times slower than they did in real life will make you wonder why anyone would ever risk stepping foot inside a soccer stadium—or being a YouTube star.




Wish we could see what it did to his brain. I’m betting it’s like the nose bone vs nose cartilage...every bony thing moves to the right and all the other stuff gets distorted.
