Behold Darren Aronofsky's gorgeous recreation of the Book of Genesis. Taken straight out of his latest movie Noah, it's almost easy to believe that this entire film may have been conceived just so Aronofsky could illustrate the Biblical version of the big bang.

The scene starts after the flood. Noah and his family are huddled and waiting out the terrible storm that has washed away everything from the face of the Earth. It's really very beautiful, especially the collapsing man that cuts across time towards the end. Plus it's pretty interesting to watch how Aronofsky (very abstractly) merged the two worlds of science and religion into one creation clip that culminates in Cocoon people.
