Remember Freaks and Geeks, the short-lived teen comedy produced by Judd Apatow before you knew who Judd Apatow was? The show starred Seth Rogen and James Franco some 15 years before the pair would help spark the international cyber-clusterfuck we know as the Sony Hacks. Forget about the hackers and just watch the show.

If you've been to high school, you'll relate to one of the characters. And if you've seen a comedy in the past ten years, you'll instantly recognize the beginnings of an entire genre of comedy movies with Judd Apatow's name on them. (You'll also recognize a young Jason Segal, who was a freak.) The Interview, starring Rogen and Franco, is the latest addition to that genre, but since it's been pulled from theaters nationwide following the Sony Pictures hack, who knows when we'll get to see it.

But it doesn't matter. The Interview won't be better than Freaks and Geeks. Few things are. [Netflix]
