We’ve been so excited for Spielberg’s “last survivors of humanity vs. dinosaurs” show Terra Nova that we’ve forgotten about Spielberg’s “last survivors of humanity vs. aliens” show Falling Skies. But this new teaser, which just came out a few minutes ago, makes a bold gambit to put Falling Skies back on the map.
And it actually looks pretty great — Noah Wyle is grim and full of resolve and grief. There’s lots of bomb-throwing and gun-toting. And most of all, there are alien spider-drones. Is this the first time we’ve seen the alien shock troops in action? They look pretty nifty, actually.
