It’s just so damn fun, I want it on TV now. Right now. Ugh, the wait for fall sucks.
If you saw the trailer, you know what you’re in for. It really does feel exactly like what an updated Muppet television show should be: a little meta and a lot of insanity. The Office-style mockumentary show also works surprisingly well — the Muppets have always broken the fourth wall.
It’s perhaps a little more topical than timeless in its jokes, but I’m a sucker for a slam against the 405. And for pot jokes. And Trader Joe’s. And the cameos are exactly right and Miss Piggy is perfection. Ahhhh, Kermit flails all around.
