You may never see the brilliant TV adaptation of Joe Hill’s supernatural comic book Locke & Key (as Fox dropped series before giving it a chance). But you can watch the trailer for the pilot right now.
Directed by Mark Romanek, backed by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and produced and written by Josh Friedman we’re shocked that this series never say the light of day. For those of you who haven’t read Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez comic book series (go buy it now) here’s a very general synopsis:
“Three siblings and their mother move into their murdered father’s family home, where they discover a series of supernatural keys, which give them extraordinary abilities.”
If you’re hungry for more we suggest checking out our lengthy and lament-filled review of the pilot from the special Comic-Con screening. It really is just a shame, a beautiful shame.
