Back in 1982, two 11-year-old kids loved Raiders of the Lost Ark so deeply that they remade the entire film, shot for shot. Twenty years later, Eli Roth got his hands on this tape and it instantly became a “must-watch” sensation. Today, the now grown kids are getting the band back together.
Not only does the documentary about the fan made masterpiece called Raiders reveal the secrest behind this making of this movie, but it brings the two filmmakers back together to re-create the plane scene from Indiana. But this time they have much more sophisticated props, cameras and actors. Which seems weird after you’ve seen their cobbled together fan film, but it’s a nice touch.
