We Need More Fantasy Films As Stylish As This Animated Short

Just try not to fall in love with The Two of Us, which feels like an entire epic fantasy film packed into six wordless minutes. It's a simple story of a boy and a girl on the run, but the world they inhabit is a visually rich one.

The Two of Us is Bernard Bui and Pierre De Menezes' Ecole des Métiers du Cinéma d'Animation graduation film. While the animation may not be perfectly smooth, we're in love with the colors, the backgrounds, and the way the tale unfolds. It's a stunner, and we hope to see more from these two.
