When we said webOS was brilliant but that the hardware was dragging it down, we didn't mean for a PreCentral forum-dweller to run it on a Dell laptop.


While Palm's webOS has always been able to run on PCs using the SDK, the video below shows it's also possible to boot it on an IDE hard drive, using the webOS image from the emulator—which just so happens to play nice with x86 processors. It's not going to change your life and have you flinging your copy of Windows 7 out the window just yet—but it sure makes for a happy video on a Monday morning, no?
