Well, At Least the Minority Report TV Show Looks Great.

In a new featurette, the cast and crew of Fox’s new Minority Report earnestly explain how the show takes the premise of the movie forward. They’re certainly committing a lot of resources to getting the look right.

The one thing no one seems to be explaining in this video is how the show can have basically the exact opposite message as the 2002 movie. Because after the movie spent two hours showing how unpleasant a world where “pre-crime” existed, this show seems to be saying that it’s a shame that the weird invasion of privacy was ended.

Also, there is a lot of style over substance in everything we see here. It looks great — up until they start giving all the usual buzzwords for the characters. Maybe they should just embrace the campiness inherent in the premise.
