Can’t wait until April to get your Game of Thrones fix with the season 5 premiere? Well, can you hold out until February? Because that’s when HBO will be airing some kind of 30-minute GoT special, titled “A Day in the Life.”
It airs on Sunday, February 8th, at 7:30 p.m. ET, and according to HBO’s online special is called a “behind-the-scenes” featurette, and that’s all we know for sure. However, WinterIsComing.net posits that it will be less of a behind-the-scenes thing and more about a preview of season 5, specifically examining the new characters and Houses, much like last year’s special “Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing.”
That would seem reasonable to me, except that the title “A Day in the Life” just screams behind-the-scenes way more than a preview. Even if it is, though, it’s pretty reasonable to guess that HBO will also be giving folks another special to help prime audiences for all the new people and places in the upcoming season. Anyways, set your calendars/DVRs/schedules/sundials.
