One of the biggest loose ends at the end of Doctor Who’s midseason finale was, “What about Brian Williams?” We got to know Rory’s dad quite a bit in “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” and “The Power of Three,” and then we didn’t get to see his reaction to Rory’s fate in “Angels.”
Turns out Chris Chibnall wrote a final scene where Brian learns what happened to Amy and Rory. It was never shot — but here’s a video of it, with illustrations and some voice acting from Arthur Darvill. Closure! [via Life, Doctor Who and Combom]
