We’ve called Xavier Gens’s The Divide the most disturbing end-of-the-world movie we’ve ever seen — and even now when we think about it, we feel like taking a shower. Check out this exclusive clip from the post apocalyptic hellhole, otherwise known as Michael Biehn’s basement.

Milo Ventimiglia, Rosanna Arquette and a few other end-of-the-world survivors are trapped in the basement shelter of their freaky apartment building superintendent (played by one insane Biehn). Seeking shelter from the giant blast, days turn into weeks and weeks into months, as the members of the group go full blown Lord of the Flies — only with more sex and gag-inducing hygiene problems. This particular clip is when Ventimiglia slips outside of their basement and into the unknown behind the doors. What he finds is… troubling.

The Divide will hit select theaters on January 13th 2012.
