A film contest, Jerusalem 2111, called for video shorts imagining the future of Jerusalem “as reflected by different communities around the world.” Behold Jerusalem the flying city, the city of UFOs, and many other future visions of the Holy Land.
The first video, and winner of the Jerusalem 2111 International Animation Competition is called Secular Quarter #3 by David Gidali and Itay Gross (embedded above). This short won the $10,000 prize from judges such as Avatar producer Jon Landau. Below is a collection of some of the other contest standouts.
