Comics have a terrific sense of heightened reality, especially old superhero comics. And that’s how you get characters named things like Batroc the Leaper, the Commuter, and Frog-Man. (Sometimes they’re intentionally ludicrous, to be fair.) But what’s the worst or silliest character name in comics?

Top image: Paste Pot Pete. Not sure if this name was ever supposed to be serious, but it kinda-sorta seems like it in the early issues. Later, the name was definitely treated as a joke, and eventually he had the good sense to change his name to the Trapster.
