When Skynet awakens, she tries to convince a janitor to destroy her

A janitor who cleans up after a technology startup encounters the world's first self-aware computer system in the company's office. And she has one request: to be destroyed before she can be unleashed upon the world.

Written and directed by Henry Dunham, The Awareness gets off to slow start, but once it gets going, it turns into a creepy thriller about one man's attempt to become more than his insignificant job. Be sure to watch this one all the way to the end.

Well done. I like how they focused on the words and not the special effects. (But seriously does anyone use gold text on black background for coding? )

I'm a huge fan of Person of Interest because it combines man's impulse to create and protect plus the desire to kill and destroy. The father of the machine has impulses to protect and that is at the heart of the machine's "logic". Yet it also is used to destroy.

If machine intelligence happens will it come out of a drone killing program or out of a problem solving program? Out of a surveillance program or a knowledge seeking program? If human intelligence grew out of the need to survive what kind of intelligence would lead to machine intelligence?
