It’s not just Wal-Mart that’s opening up its stores for Black Friday sales right about the time most people cut their turkey during Thanksgiving Dinner, a lot of stores are bumping up their opening times a lot earlier this year too. Here’s a list of when stores will open for ‘Black Friday’ also known as Thanksgiving for most people.

The WSJ dug up the opening times for big box stores:
Wal-Mart – 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day
Sears – 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day
Toys R Us – 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day
Target – 9:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day
Best Buy – 12:00 AM on Black Friday
Macy’s – 12:00 AM on Black Friday
Kohl’s – 12:00 AM on Black Friday
Staples – 5:00 AM on Black Friday (this actually looks halfway sensible)
Basically, if you want a good deal and a good meal, buy a bucket of chicken at KFC and bring it with you while you shop. Or wait for Cyber Monday. [WSJ via Consumerist]
