It doesn't matter where they work, December always means one thing for graphic designers—Christmas cards. And this year Viewpoint Creative has given us a behind-the-scenes look at what really goes into their creation.


I'd like to say the hellish process has been over-exaggerated for comedic purposes. But having created many corporate holiday greetings over the years, the back and forth and vague feedback in this video are pretty accurate. Almost too accurate. Christmas always means magazine deadlines for me. Every year without fail I have several clients that all want to get to press before the holidays. Never fails. Had a client email me today with cover changes for a pub that goes out next week—the 7th set of changes. I'm ignoring it and going to start drinking my annual Christmas Guinness. Merry Christmas all!
